VA 8792 - Academic Services Manager

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Services Manager to oversee IEG’s tutoring and examination services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of tutors, ensuring the quality of teaching, onboarding new tutors, exam delivery and overseeing customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales and academic coordinator team to optimize the workflow for tutor selection, ensuring that the right tutors are assigned to the right clients based on their requirements and availability, and proactively identify and address gaps in tutor availability.
  • Supervise the onboarding of new tutors, including training and development to ensure that they are equipped to deliver the best results for our students.
  • Monitor the performance of the tutoring team to ensure that they are meeting customer expectations and delivering high-quality classes.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that our teaching standards are consistent with our goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our tutoring services.
  • Collaborate with the product team to improve the online learning solution used by tutors and students
  • Oversee the delivery of exams, including registration, scheduling, and invigilation.
  • Keep up to date with the latest relevant exam policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the entire company

  • 监测导师团队的绩效,以确保他们满足客户期望并提供高质量的课程。
  • 制定和实施质控措施,以确保教学标准与公司制定的目标和目的一致。
  • 积极与营销团队合作,制定和实施相应营销策略,推广我们的辅导服务。
  • 推进与产品团队合作,改进导师和学生使用的在线学习平台和方式。
  • 监督和确保考试的顺利开展,包括考试注册,考场相关安排和监考等。
  • 掌握最新的相关考试政策和流程,确保整个公司的合规性。
Required skills/competencies
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Chinese speaker preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the education sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and use it to make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Knowledge of the education industry and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
